JET FUEL™ is a specialty clear PPF with a distinctive rainbow and light-reflective effect.
Its appearance changes depending on lighting, viewing angle, paint color, panel shape, stretch, and installation technique. The film may display subtle iridescent, bronze, rainbow, haze, or color-shifting tones while still allowing the original paint color to remain visible.
JET FUEL™ is designed primarily for its visual effect and impact protection. It is not intended to perform or install like a conventional premium clear PPF.
Important Installation Notice
JET FUEL™ is a highly sensitive, directional specialty film and requires more care during installation than standard clear PPF.
Because of its unique optical characteristics:
- fingerprints, dust, contamination, adhesive marks, stretch marks, and other installation imperfections may be more visible;
- appearance may vary from panel to panel depending on stretch, positioning, panel shape, lighting, and viewing angle;
- haze, bronze, rainbow, or reflective tones may be visible and are part of the intended visual effect;
- the film has a directional optical effect and the same roll orientation should be maintained across adjacent panels;
- recesses, corners, edges, complex curves, and areas under tension should be tested before proceeding with a complete installation;
- excessive stretch or tension may affect adhesion, appearance, and panel-to-panel consistency.
Installers should evaluate the film carefully and test installation behavior before completing a full vehicle installation.
