The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role ensures customer orders are fulfilled accurately, inventory is handled properly, and warehouse safety and organization standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and packing slips.  
  • Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.  
  • Label and properly store inventory according to warehouse procedures.  
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.  
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.

Order Fulfillment  

  • Pick customer orders accurately according to sales orders.
  • Prepare products for shipment by packaging items securely and professionally.
  • Verify quantities, product codes, and shipping documentation before dispatch.
  • Stage orders for pickup by shipping carriers or customer pickup.
  • Assist with same-day shipping priorities and expedited orders.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Prepare domestic and international shipments.
  • Generate shipping labels and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight providers. 
  • Ensure shipments comply with packaging and transportation requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks safely. 

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.  
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. 
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  •  Basic computer skills. 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong work ethic and dependability. 
  • Fluent in English.

Bonus Skills

  •   Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified).
  •   Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.
  •   Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight shipping systems.
  •   Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
  •  Bilingual.

Warehouse Organization  

  •  
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. 
  • Organize inventory for efficient storage and retrieval. 
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices where applicable. 
  • Dispose of packaging materials and maintain housekeeping standards. 
  • Assist with warehouse layout improvements and organization projects. 


Equipment & Safety

  •  
    Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified). 
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures. 
  • Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately. 
  • Use proper lifting techniques and maintain a safe work environment. 


Team Collaboration  

  • Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams. 
  • Support inventory transfers, product labeling, and warehouse projects. 
  • Assist with preparing products and materials for trade shows, training events, and product launches. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase warehouse efficiency.
